COVID-19 has pushed a lot of events online and Remembrance Day is no exception this year. While you can pay your respects in person at a few events, most are also offer online streaming events tomorrow.
If you are unable to attend one of the events either in person or virtually, you can still pay tribute to Canadian soldiers and veterans by wearing a poppy and observing a moment of silence wherever you are.
Remembrance Day Events in Grimsby
The Town of Grimsby will be holding an in-person Remembrance Day ceremony, which is by invitation only to adhere to COVID-19 gathering limits. Residents can also watch the ceremony virtually on the town’s Facebook page.

Lincoln’s Remembrance Day Ceremonies
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 612 will be holding a ceremony by invitation only at the Beamsville Cenotaph. Wreaths will be pre-placed as per dominion command.

Remembrance in West Lincoln
The 1626 West Niagara Royal Canadian Army Cadets will be presenting a virtual Remembrance Day ceremony on the Cadets’ Youtube channel.

Pelham’s Ceremonies
Pelham will be holding a ceremony at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 613 on Highway 20. Space is limited to 100 people and those attended must wear a mask and provide contact information for tracing purposes. Wreath laying will be done prior to the ceremony.

Wainfleet’s Remembrance Day Ceremony
Wainfleet will be holding a ceremony at the Wainfleet Cenotaph. Space is limited to 100 people and those who would like to attend in person must register first on the town’s website.
