Beamsville 4Paw Rescue: Popeye

Popeye is a very sweet boy who loves to play and run around in the backyard, but when he gets inside, he is a laid-back marshmallow. He loves to be beside you and gets along with other dogs but does not like cats.

Popeye is recommended with older children and must have fully fenced-in backyard.

Lincoln County Humane Society: Peanut

Breed: Boxer, Female – 6 year old

Peanut is such a wonderful girl.  When she first got to the shelter, she was scared and showed aggression, now she’s a big softy. Her biggest hurdle is when she first meets new people on her territory.  Once this is done properly, it’s smooth sailing.

Her perfect home has a fenced yard, no children under 16 years old and no other dogs in the household.  Her adopters should be loving and want to include their dog in their day-to-day activities.  She also loves to just lay at your feet.

Please have any new people she is going to meet go nice and slow with her as not to overwhelm her and have her react in fear.

Once Peanut settles into her new home and has some structure, she’s going to thrive!
