Pet Adoption of the Week Round-Up

Each week Niagara Info publishes profiles of pets waiting for adoption from area shelters and humane societies. To find out about adopting the profiled pets call the organizations below. To reach our animal reporter, contact [email protected].

This week we will be featuring animals shared in previously that are still looking for forever homes.

Lincoln County Humane Society: Zoey

Bulldog
Approximately two years old, or younger, female

Requirements:

  • Fully fenced yard 6ft
  • No other dogs
  • No cats
  • No children

Zoey is one sweet girl, she is all about being with her person and playing. She does lack some serious manners and will need to be trained so she will understand what is expected of her. Her perfect home has a fenced yard, no other animals in the home, are committed to training and are active people. With some structure and guidance this girl is going to be a great addition to a home that loves to include their dog in day to day activities!

**Zoey does have a behaviour waiver for no other dogs (no dog parks), no cats and that she is a strong girl.

From Dog Volunteers/Handlers:

Zoey loves hugs, bum rubs and treats. She likes to explore and then likes you to sit down and get some love.

She is a gorgeous, happy girl. Loves to give hugs and soak up the love. Once she knows you, she calms down pretty fast and is happy to follow you around.

All adoptable dogs have been given a behavioral test and our staff will be happy to explain the testing and discuss the results with potential adopters during the initial meeting with the dog you are interested in.
