Hamilton Police are urging potential victims to come forward with information in a sexual assault investigation involving a 31-year-old Etobicoke man.
Detectives began investigating a sexual assault case Aug. 10, in the City of Hamilton, that involved a female under the age of 16 and an older man in his early 30s.
The two began talking online through social media and met in person twice, at least once in Grimsby. During the second meeting, they drove to Hamilton and the victim was sexually assaulted and given money afterward.
Police say the older man is identified as 31-year-old Alexander Hang of Etobicoke. Hang was arrested Aug. 21 and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, and failure to comply with probation.
Investigators believe that there may be more victims and are urging anyone that has come in contact with Alexander Hang to notify police.
