In August 2022, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) street crime detectives assigned to 2 District (Niagara Falls / Niagara-On-The-Lake) with the assistance of members from the Special Investigative Services, commenced an investigation into the distribution of illegal drugs throughout the City of Niagara Falls.
In the afternoon of August 18th, 2022, detectives received judicial authorization to execute a search warrant at an address in the area of Dorchester Road and Russell Street, in the City of Niagara Falls. As a result of the investigation, 131 grams of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of $7,500 was seized. Canadian currency in the amount of $1,765 was also seized, as it was believed to have been acquired through the proceeds of crime.
Domenic LOSTRACCO (60 years) of Niagara Falls has been arrested and charged with the following offences:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking – Controlled Drugs & Substances Act
• Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 – Criminal Code
Cindy GRAVELLE (51 years) of Niagara Falls has been arrested and charged with the following offences:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking – Controlled Drugs & Substances Act
• Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 – Criminal Code
LOSTRACCO and GRAVELLE have been released from custody on Form 10 Undertakings. They are both scheduled to attend the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse, located at 59 Church Street, in the City of St. Catharines on October 20th, 2022.
