Single Vehicle Fatality Under Investigation in West Lincoln

On September 9, 2022, at approximately 10:30pm emergency service personnel responded to a report of a serious single car rollover in West Lincoln.

Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 8 District (Grimsby) officers, along with Niagara Emergency Medical Service paramedics, and fire fighters from West Lincoln Fire Services arrived on scene in the area of Regional Road 20 and Concession 4.

A lone car had left the roadway, rolled multiple times and ended up in an adjacent field.  The driver of the car, a male believed to be in his 20s needed to be extricated by fire personnel.  He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Roads were closed in the area as detectives from the NRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit and Forensic Services Unit conducted their investigation.  The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
