St. Catharines Armed Robbery Under Investigation – Update 1 – Arrest

1 District detectives have been investigating this incident since it occurred on September 12, 2022.  As a result of that investigation a suspect was identified.

On September 21, 2022, Nicholas R. Selvig (40 years) of St. Catharines was arrested in relation to this incident.  Selvig has been charged with the criminal offences of:

Disguise with Intent, S. 351(2) CC Robbery with a Firearm, S. 344(1)(a) CC

Selvig was held in custody for a video bail hearing to be held at the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines on September 22, 2022.
