Two Males Arrested in Drug Trafficking Investigation – Niagara Falls

In October 2025, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 2 District (Niagara Falls / Niagara-on-the-Lake) Street Crime Unit (SCU) commenced an investigation into the illegal trafficking of drugs in the City of Niagara Falls.

On Wednesday, November 26, with assistance from 1 District (St Catharines/Thorold) Street Crime Unit, two males were arrested as a result of the investigation. Upon arrest, detectives located and seized 34.8 grams of Cocaine and $1080 in Canadian Currency.

Detectives were subsequently granted judicial search warrants on three residences and two vehicles related to the investigation. Upon executing the search warrants, an additional 40 grams of Cocaine and $3950 in Canadian Currency were located and seized.

 31-year-old Chad MCCONNERY of St Catharines is charged with the following criminal offences:

Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime – Under $5000

MCCONNERY was released from custody on a Form 10 Undertaking with a future court date.

36-year-old Dylan MANIACCO of St Catharines is charged with the following criminal offences:

Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine (2 Counts) Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime – Under $5000 Fail to Comply with Release Order (2 Counts)

MANIACCO remains in custody and is scheduled to attend a bail hearing on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse, located at 59 Church Street in St Catharines.
