Two Men Charged in Auto Theft Investigation

Lincoln – On Friday, November 7, 2025, uniform and plainclothes officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) entered an investigation into recovered stolen vehicles. 

8 District Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) with the assistance of the Auto Theft Unit (ATU), executed a warrant at a property within the Town of Lincoln.  A total of 5 vehicles were recovered, seized and processed. 

As a result of the investigation two Lincoln men were arrested and charged.  51-year-old Dean Williams and 52-year-old Devon Williams have both been charged with:

Possess property obtained by crime over $5000 Possess property obtained by crime over $5000 for the purpose of trafficking

Both men were released on conditions and have a future court date.

The Auto Theft Unit has assumed carriage of the investigation, which remains ongoing.
