Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) detectives assigned to 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) continue to investigate the shooting that occurred in St. Catharines on Friday, June 6, 2025.
Detectives have identified a vehicle believed to be used by the suspect(s).
The vehicle is described as a white Mercedes sedan last seen travelling east on Queenston Street in the City of St. Catharines (see photos below).
Detectives are asking witnesses, anyone with video footage, or anyone who has information relating to the suspect(s) or suspect(s) vehicle, to contact them at 905-688-4111, dial option 3, ext 1009971 or by email at [email protected].

On Friday, June 6, 2025, at 2:08 a.m., Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 1 District officers (St. Catharines/Thorold) were dispatched to a report of shots fired at the intersection of Niagara Street and Church Street in the city of St. Catharines.
Uniformed officers arrived on scene approximately one minute after the call for service. They quickly confirmed that a shooting had occurred. The target of the shooting was a residence known in the drug subculture.
No injuries were reported.
A scene has been secured and is being held for processing by the Forensic Services Unit (FSU).
At this time, there is no suspect information available. However, efforts to identify the person or persons involved are ongoing.
Police believe this was a targeted incident and that there is no ongoing risk to public safety.
The investigation remains under the carriage of the 1 District Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB), which is appealing to the public for any information. Investigators are seeking witnesses, video surveillance or any other details that may assist in advancing the investigation.
