Visitor to Grimsby’s Peach King Centre tests positive for COVID-19

The Town of Grimsby has been notified that a visitor to the Peach King Centre has tested positive for COVID-19.

The individual was last at the facility Sunday, Nov. 22. It had been determined that the risk of exposure is low. Any facility patrons that are at risk of exposure to the infected person are being contacted by Niagara Region Public Health.

A public health inspector has completed an investigation of the facility. The Peach King Centre was in full compliance with COVID-19 safety measures.

As part of the NRPH privacy practices, specific details of the case will not be disclosed. It does not believe identifying an infected person by name is in the public interest.
