Friday, Sept. 25

Chalk Art at the Fleming Centre

Lincoln residents can make their artistic mark on the Fleming Centre floor before the ice goes in. Chalk will be provided. Advanced registration is required for this event. Only two time slots available. Full information is here.

Wine painting with Melissa Proudlock

Join artist Melissa Proudlock to learn how to paint with wine. Melissa will guide participants to create their own painting using local wines. Guests will also be able to enjoy a glass while they paint. For full details and to register click here.

Saturday, Sept. 26

Drone training session at The Grimsby Library

Drone expert Larry Arbuckle will be outside the library for this socially-distant talk about the Drones. He’ll cover innovations, drone photography and more. There will be a live demonstration with a flight over the library. Social distancing rules apply. For more information click here.

Pick, Stomp and Taste event at Flat Rock Cellars

For a hands on wine experience guests can pick and stomp grapes the old fashioned way. Guests will then enjoy with a unique tasting of Flat Rock’s freshly-bottled 2019 wines and just-pressed 2020 grape juice (though, not the juice they were stomping on!). Flat Rock Cellars food truck and live music

Flat Rock Cellars hosts a food truck from 2-5pm with live music. Sept. 19 will feature Twisted Tomato. Walk-up orders only, pre-orders are not available. Fonthill Makers Market

The Fonthill Makers Market is partnering with Everyday Market to create weekly handmade markets outside. They begin this weekend. Attendees can shop local artisans, take home some delicious treats and shop for fall gifts and products made local artisans. For more information and location click here.

Morning Yoga Flow at Good Earth Winery

An invigorating morning practice will be led by Yoga Vine. The fresh air yoga practice links breath with movement to increase flexibility through stretching and relaxing muscles of the whole body. For more information click here.

Yoga at Back 10 Cellars

Weather permitting yoga will be held at Back 10 Cellars. A tasting will follow the yoga. There is a sheltered area for the class and the tasting. Dress for weather and bring a mat and water. More information here.

Forty Creeky Whiskey Weekend 2020

Forty Creek continues its annual tradition of celebrating Whisky Weekend. This year the event will be held virtually. Participants can join on Facebook Live. Forty Creek’s 14th annual limited release, RESOLVE will be reviewed and discussed. Cocktails sessions with expert mixologist, Shawn Soole, will be part of this event. Lincoln’s Nature in our Neighbourhood competition

Residents of Lincoln can join in the Nature in our Neighbourhood Autumn Edition compeition by posting pictures of their family in nature. Pictures can be taken in their yard, local park or conservation area, or anywhere outside in Lincoln, Ontario. More details here.

Peg doll family craft time

Join the Town of Lincoln Museum and Cultural Centre for a special Culture Days craft. Paint a peg doll for each family member. Help celebrate how unique each and every family of Lincoln is. Full details here.

Fall Wine Discovery Pass

Purchase a Wine Discovery Pass to visit up to eight wineries that are holding special culinary experiences for passholders only. Among the wineries are Flat Rock Cellars, 13th Street Winery, Harbour Estates, Fielding Estate, Hernder Estate, and Konzelmann Estate Winery. Fall Workshops at the Watering Can

Attend a fall workshop at the Watering Can. Attendees can plant an immense container for the Autumn season. The impressive planter is brimming with a combination of colourful garden mums, heather, zebra plant, ornamental grass, plus a host of decor, will be used. It is suitable for an outdoor setting. Balls Falls Annual Thanksgiving Festival

This year the Balls Fall Thanksgiving Festival has gone virtual. In its 46th year, the Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival is a Niagara Tradition that normally runs October 9th through October 12th. The 2020 festival, which was originally conceived as four days of exciting in-person shopping, featuring delicious local food, drinks, artisan vendors, and historical tours and demonstrations has been transformed into a virtual experience.
