Niagara Region Public Health has advised the District School Board of Niagara that three new COVID-19 cases have been detected at the board’s schools including one in Pelham.

The DSBN said in a news release that one individual at EL Crossley Secondary School in Pelham has tested positive for COVID-19. There are two more cases at Niagara Falls schools including one at Stamford Secondary School and another at James Morden Public School.

DSBN refuses to provide the identity or roles (student or staff) of the individuals citing “privacy issues”.

It said as part of COVID-19 case management and infection control protocol, students and staff who had close contact with the individuals have already been contacted and told by NRPH to stay home and self-isolate.
