Ontario Public Health confirmed 88 new cases of COVID-19 today and two deaths.
That adds to the case count that has now reached 41,695 cases, of which 37,863 are resolved in the province.
According to Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott on Twitter this morning, that is a “0.2% increase. The province processed nearly 22,000 tests. 29 of Ontario’s 34 public health units are reporting five or fewer cases, with 20 reporting no new cases.”
She said there was also 115 more resolved cases today.
43 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in the province. 15 are in an intensive care unit. 10 are on a ventilator.
Niagara Region reported no new cases yesterday. Today’s data is pending.
