The Ontario government confirmed 148 new COVID-19 cases today in the province, including one new case reported today in the Niagara Region.
Peel Region is reporting 72 new cases. There are 41 new cases in Toronto and 13 in Ottawa. All other health units are reporting five or fewer cases, including one in the Niagara Region.
Ontario has now had 42,834 cases, while 38,741 of those have been resolved.
The total number of confirmed cases in the Niagara region is now at 941. Of those cases, there are 10 active cases and one active outbreak. There have been 64 deaths.
