Niagara regional police urges residents to avoid calling 911 about COVID-19 order violations

NRPS reminds residents that concerns about COVID-19 emergency order enforcement should be directed towards your municipality's bylaw office, not 911.

The Niagara Regional Police Service is urging anyone with concerns about COVID-19 emergency order enforcement to contact their local municipality’s bylaw office. It said dialing 9-1-1 should not be used for reporting infractions.

After 4:30 p.m., residents can call Niagara Region’s dispatch line at (905) 984-3690 or 1-877-552-5579 for further assistance.

COVID-19 health inquiries can be directed towards Niagara Region Public Health. The NRPH can be contacted at (905) 688-8248 or 1-888-505-6074, press option 7 then follow the prompts.
