What better than a Christmas market to usher in the holiday spirit? This year, West Niagara residents can visit a new one right in their backyard at Bench Brewing Company in Beamsville.
The popular craft brewery launched its first winter market the first weekend in November. It run every weekend until Christmas.
Visitors can rent bonfire pits for up to six people that are available on a first come first serve basis. While sitting around a warm fire, they can sip seasonal beers and munch on gourmet delights from a special menu prepared by Bench Brewing’s kitchen.
The mini market showcases local guest vendors that change out every week. When the event was launched, Gnomes by Mari was spotlighted on the market’s debut weekend. Her timeless Scandinavian gnomes of all shapes, sizes, and colours were set for sale in a pop-up booth. Future vendors will continue to be promoted . Bench Brewing’s bottle shop has also moved to an outdoor yurt. It is located in the beer garden on the patio. Guests can purchase Bench Brewing swag and beers to take home for themselves or gift to the beer lovers on their lists.
