The Ontario government, in consultation with health officials, has decided to move certain public health unit regions to higher levelsin COVID-19 response framework to help limit transmission of COVID-19 while keeping schools open, and protecting health system capacity and vulnerable populations.

Ontario reported 1,210 new COVID-19 cases today, a decrease from yesterday’s report of 1,417. The Niagara Region reports 20 new cases, an increase from yesterday’s report of 16.
