Detectives Seeking to Identify Suspect Involved in Overnight Mischief – Welland/Pelham – Update #1

The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 3 District (Welland / Pelham) Criminal Investigative Branch continues to investigate the circumstances related to 16 vehicles having been damaged during the overnight hours on November 29th, 2022, between 1:00am and 2:30am in both the City of Welland and Town of Pelham.

With the assistance of area residents, detectives have obtained an updated suspect description, an additional image and surveillance video of the suspect.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the lead detective by dialing 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009395.

The suspect is described as follows:

–          Male

–          White

–          18-25 years

–          6’0” tall

–          Thin build

–          Wearing a black puffy winter jacket

–          Wearing black track pants

–          Wearing a winter toque

The vehicle the suspect is operating is described as follows:

–          Grey

–          4 door sedan

–          Believed to be a Honda Civic

Members of the public who wish to provide information anonymously are encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).  Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to persons who contact the program with information that leads to an arrest.
