Found, the Grimsby furniture consignment store on Main Street East, has closed.
“Saturday is our last day at FOUND. Please come in and see if you can find one last treasure before we are closed for good,Thank you again to all of you for your support and loving wishes. 
we will miss you all!” wrote owners Tara Mielko and Vita Kairys last week as they made plans to close out the store.
“COVID was kind the nail the coffin,” said Mieklo, speaking to Niagara Info Monday by phone. “Being shutdown for three months and trying to get back from that was difficult.”
“We’ve been up and down throughout the years and felt like this was the final final thing,” added co-owner Kairys.
Besides COVID-19 shutdown, the business’s lease was also up for renewal, and there were other factors that impacted the decision to shutter the business.
Still, the partners have fond memories of the five years that the store operated. “We love everyone we met and have become close with people who are now our friends through meeting them at the store,” said Mieklo. “People would come in and browse around and bring a coffee and we would chat for half an hour. We loved the social relationships the most.”
