Detectives assigned to the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Homicide Unit continue to investigate a September 6th, 2023, stabbing that left an adult male deceased.
The initial investigation has determined that officers responded to a stabbing that had escalated from a fight between a group of people. The victim was stabbed with a knife during the fight and left on the ground. The victim was treated at the scene and transported to a nearby hospital for further care. The victim later died from the injury.
Detectives have obtained images of the suspect who is WANTED for second degree murder. It is believed the suspect may have sustained an injury to his head during the interaction with the victim. The suspect is encouraged to contact legal counsel and make arrangements to surrender himself into police custody.
