Police investigating Beamsville pet store break-in

Paulmacs Pets Paulmacs Pets in Beamsville was broken into early Monday morning

Police are investigating after a bandit broke into a Beamsville pet store early Monday morning.

Niagara police say officers from 8 District detachment in Grimsby responded to a call at Paulmac’s Pets in Beamsville Town Centre, located in the strip mall at 4961 King St East in Beamsville.

Police investigators have determined that the pet store was broken into at approximately 4:25 a.m. The thief stole an estimated $1,000 worth of property. Damage is also estimated at $1,000. The storefront window was broken and it is currently boarded up awaiting repair.

Police say they are seeking a suspect was wearing light blue jeans, a gray hoodie with some white writing on the front, a black facial covering, and a black single cross shoulder-strapped backpack. An NRPS spokesperson would not say where police got the suspect’s description from.

The incident is under investigation by 8 District officers.
