Update 1 – December 29, 2022
Detectives from the Niagara Regional Police Service Sexual Assault Unit have been investigating this incident since it was reported on December 26, 2022. As a result of that investigation a suspect was identified. On December 29, 2022, detectives attended a house in the area of Morrison Street and Homewood Avenue in Niagara Falls where the suspect was located and arrested.
Matthew Graham Archer (37 years) of Niagara Falls has been arrested and charged with the Criminal Code offence of:
Sexual Assault
Archer is being held in custody for a bail hearing and will appear via video link to the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines on December 30, 2022.
