Lincoln County Humane Society: Balto

Balto from LCHS

Breed: German Shepherd, Male – 7 years old

Balto is going to make a family very happy. He is such a sweet and fun dog to hang out with. He loves to roll around in the snow and to lean into you to get some pets.

Balto’s perfect home has a fully fenced yard (at least 5 ft), no children under 8 years old, no other male dogs, and no cats.

He would do best with a female dog to live with and adopters who go slow with introductions to strange dogs (no dog parks).

All adoptable dogs have been given a behavioral test and our staff will be happy to explain the testing and discuss the results with potential adopters during the initial meeting with the dog you are interested in.
