Beamsville can expect some southern flare in its food scene with the opening of Sassafras Coastal Kitchen & Bar.
The new restaurant opened June 27. Owner Scott Brownlee told NiagaraThisWeek.com that Covid-19 pushed back the opening date, but the restaurant’s patio is open and the staff is ready to serve southern classics.
The menu consists of dishes like jambalaya and fried chicken, along with house cocktails. Brownlee expects to expand the menu as restrictions continue to be lifted, but for now, he and his staff are excited to share the menu with residents.
